She completed clinical dermatology and infectious diseases at Viedma General State Hospital in Cochabamba. Rafaela Quiroga, LSA, was also awarded the title doctor of medicine and general surgeon by the Ministry of Health in Bolivia.
After moving to the United States, Rafaela Quiroga, LSA, received certification from the US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), which assesses how prepared international medical graduates are to provide patient care in the US. She went on to complete her training at prestigious hospitals and is also a licensed surgical assistant.
Rafaela Quiroga, LSA, has been mentored by renowned dermatologists in Washington and developed close working relationships that she still maintains today. She worked at the Center of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery as well as the Center of Laser Surgery who are well-known experts in laser treatments, she also worked at Cultura Medical Center, all in Washington, DC.
